This​ ​chunky​ ​knit​ ​blanket​ ​throw​ ​is​ ​ultra​ ​plush,​ ​soft​ ​and​ ​warm​ ​and​ ​it​ ​is​ ​aesthetically​ ​pleasing​ ​to​ ​toss​ ​on​ ​the​ ​couch,​ ​chair​ ​or​ ​bed​ ​as​ ​a​ ​nice​ ​homey​ ​decorative​ ​touch.

The​ ​sizes​ ​of​ ​these​ ​throws​ ​may​ ​vary,​ ​but​ ​I​ ​try​ ​as​ ​much​ ​as​ ​possible​ ​to​ ​be​ ​as​ ​accurate&​ ​consistent​ ​as​ ​possible.​ ​

My​ ​throw​ ​is​ ​35x50​ ​(​ ​most​ ​likely​ ​larger​ ​in​ ​length​ ​than​ ​50-56).​ ​But​ ​-​ ​​ ​I​ ​measure​ ​each​ ​one​ ​and​ ​maintain​ ​this​ ​to​ ​be​ ​the​ ​most​ ​accurate​ ​average​ ​size.​ ​also​ ​the​ ​blanket​ ​in​ ​the​ ​main​ ​pic​ ​is​ ​a​ ​40x40.​ ​

I​ ​use​ ​the​ ​same​ ​amount​ ​of​ ​yarn​ ​skeins​ ​for​ ​each​ ​throw​ ​(5)​ ​(​ ​although​ ​yardage​ ​on​ ​skeins​ ​can​ ​vary​ ​from​ ​28-32​ ​yds)​ ​Which​ ​can​ ​impact​ ​length​ ​of​ ​blanket.

I​ ​also​ ​make​ ​tighter​ ​stitches​ ​which​ ​will​ ​stretch/loosen​ ​with​ ​time.​ ​I​ ​find​ ​that​ ​using​ ​tighter​ ​stitches​ ​increases​ ​the​ ​durability​ ​and​ ​longevity​ ​of​ ​the​ ​blanket.
